First, I'd like to thank you for your responsiveness: when we told you in ealry Decemeber what we'd like to have done before the end of the month, you found time in your busy schedule to come to our house, assess the scope of the work and prepare a detailed and reasonable estimate of the costs. You had your team at our house within a week after we finalized the scope of the work and estimate, ready to go, and your team completed the work on time and on budget as promised.

Second, I'd like to thank you for your attention to detail. You repaired an old Roxbury puddingstone retaining wall and foundation, and recognized that given the ages of these improvements (over 100 years old), the mortar would need to be tinted to better blend with the surrounding stone work. You also took care to replicate the manner in which the mortar was applied to these older improvements so that with a little bit of age, the repair work will be barely distinguishable from the untouched portions of the wall and foundation. You also replaced a failing gravel path with a field stone path and carefully matched the stones to the surrounding landscape - it's now an attractive feature of our property. Lastly, you corrected the grade of an older brick patio to prevent the pooling of water in a shaded corner of the patio. When the work was completed, the bricks were reset with perfect precision.

Third, I'd like to thank your team for keeping the work areas clean at all times. We weren't home when the work was performed, and it was nice to come home to see work in progress and all necessary tools and materials stacked neatly nearby, and when the work was completed, all work areas restored to their prior condition. It was also nice to know that our on-site presence when the work was being performed wasn't necessary as you and other people on your team were available to provide any required oversight.
